I can use almost any (clean) t-shirt or clothing item you want to bring in.  Don't cut them up!

Making your Own T-Shirt Quilt
 
If you want to make your own t-shirt quilt, I highly recommend Lauren Kingsland's book, The Extraordinary T-shirt Quilt - A Scrapbook You Can Sleep Under.  I took a class with Lauren and this is a fabulous book that gives really great step by step instructions on how to make t-shirt quilts.
