Learn to use a long-arm and quilt your own quilts at a fraction of the cost! 
Machines
I have two machines, both of which are stitch-regulated and have a laser light for pantographs.

Millenium is the top of the line APQS machine with many features.  You would want to use the Millenium if you want to:
  • have zippers on a side > 105"
  • use rulers
  • use the motorized advance
  • quilt a block > 15"
 
Lenni is the smaller and lighter version.  You would want to use it if you prefer its:
  • simpler operation
  • lightness
  • affordability

Classes 

Courses include practice time and materials and are limited to 2 people per class.

Basic Course covers machine operation, putting on zippers, loading the quilt and meandering patterns.  2 hours, $50 per person
 
Panto Course covers pantographs (all-over designs following a pattern), including following the design and aligning the pattern after advancing the quilt.  1 hour, $25 per person 
 
Advanced Course covers rulers, templates, circles, diagonals and specialty threads.  1 hour, $25 per person

Rental Fees

Beginner - $20/hour for Lenni; $22/hour for Millenium.  Assistance is provided to load the quilt, select thread and adjust the tension.  Basic Course required.
 
Experienced - $15/hour for Lenni; $17/hour for Millenium.  Renter has at least 20 rental hours and can operate the long-arm without assistance.
 
Set up Fee - $10 per session
 
Zipper leads are required and are reusable.  They reduce the time needed to load the quilt and can be put on at home to save rental time.  $25 per set.
 
Minimum rental - 2 hours
 
Practice quilts are usually available at no cost, then donated to charity.
